South Plains Electric Cooperative has an opening for a full-time Building/Utility Technician at our office in Spur, TX. This position will report directly to the line superintendent. The Building/Utility Technician will be responsible for the warehouse, pole and transformer yard, and all inside and outside maintenance of the office. Seeking a highly motivated individual with organizational and time management skills. Will assist other departments as needed. Must live within a 30 minute response time to the Spur office. Must be able to operate a forklift. Must have physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment. Requires a high school diploma and a valid Texas drivers’ license. CDL preferred.
