R.D. McCallister, from Acuff, retired from the South Plains Electric Cooperative Board of Directors. He was recognized at the Annual Membership Meeting on August 20.

We honor R.D. McCallister for 55 years of consistent service to the members of South Plains Electric Cooperative, without ever missing a meeting.

R.D. was elected to the board in 1969 and spent 48 years of service as either President or Vice President of the board. He is a Credentialed Cooperative Director and holds a Board Leadership Certificate as certified by NRECA.
