Operation Round Up Board of Directors created a community grant program to better help local non-profit organizations.

Thanks to contributions made by cooperative members, Operation Round Up awarded $15,000 in grants to 10 local non-profit organizations in 2021.

A recipient of an Operation Round Up Community Grant was the Childress Busy Beavers.

In 1975, this group was formed so that senior citizens had a safe place to worship, relax, share stories, and play games. Throughout the past years of operation, many dedicated individuals have committed themselves to one common objective – the seniors.

The programs held by Childress Busy Beavers help take care of the seniors they have gained over the years and used to encourage growth of the organization. The grant money will be used to better improve activities for the seniors and for outreach to seniors in the Childress community.
