A community grant program was created by the Operation Round Up Board of Directors to help area non-profit organizations.

Operation Round Up awarded $15,000 in grants to 10 local non-profit organizations, thanks to contributions made by Cooperative members.

Caprock AMBUCS assists a variety of people from children to military veterans through their mission to help create mobility for those with disabilities. Their community grant money was used to purchase two AmTrykes, or therapeutic tricycles, for two young boys.

The boys’ therapists said the AmTrykes have improved both boys' strength, coordination and balance by enabling them with the opportunity to ride bikes with their friends and family.

Caprock AMBUCS extends their gratitude to SPEC for the funds that purchased the trikes. They made a positive impact on these two boys and their families.
