South Plains Electric Cooperative's Operation Round Up Board of Directors created a community grant program to better help local non-profit organizations.

Thanks to contributions made by Cooperative members, Operation Round Up awarded $15,000 in grants to 10 local non-profit organizations.

Since 2011, Lubbock Impact Free Dental Clinic has been made possible by local dentists who volunteer their time to perform tooth extractions free of charge for patients who do not have insurance or the financial resources required for dental work.

The grant from South Plains Electric Cooperative was utilized to purchase an air compressor that provides optimal equipment to properly run the dental chairs. The volunteer dentists at Lubbock Impact are extremely grateful to have the tools necessary to provide quality care for their patients.
